1. Better product classification. i think it would be better to break down the products into its own pricing category so that customers will have easier time finding it esp for those that are more price conscious.
2. To have a standardise hairclip holder because i used colored stickers as a form of pricing strategy and some customers actually mistaken the colored hairclip holder as a form of pricing strategy.
3. Was thinking perhaps i can used colored ribbons or cupboard and attached the hairclips to it.. so that its easier for customers also.. for instant, all the hairclips attached to the purple ribbons cost $1.50 each blah blah blah... it's also much easier to keep the hairclips too...
4. Developing bundle products. To push for higher sales, perhaps i can create product bundling. For instance, i can have matching hairclips, hair bows, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and sell it as a package.
I also got some good feedback from people who visited and/or purchase from Charmed Bowtique:
1. Unique and smart pricing strategy.
2. Products are cute, nice and pretty.
3. Everyone was amazed that i actually handmade all the products - from hairclips to earrings to necklaces to bracelets to rings etc... Actually i was pretty impressed too.. the feeling came when all the products are displayed on the table...
4. The guy from Northeast CDC is interested to get bulk purchase from me.. like 1000 pieces of hairclips... he took my namecard and we will touch base from there.. hope i can really clinch the deal and get more people to own a tiny bits of Charmed Bowtique. :).. will update you guys on this ya!!
The GOH for the event was Mr Yeo Guat Kwang, MP for Aljunied GRC and Adviser to Aljunied Hougang GROs.. and suprisingly he also purchased some hairclips from me.. he actually stopped at my stall for quite a while and was browsing through the hairclips, deciding which one to get for his daughter. :) He was equally amazed with the stuff that i made which proved to be very encouraging... :)
My friends was even telling me to keep the money that he gave cos how often do we get MP to buy stuff from us.. but i guess its his way of showing appreciation to us.
Charmed Bowtique is thankful to everyone who support us in this event and make it possible. Special thanks to Linda and Qiye who helped me to design a pinkish pretty namecard, not forgetting to help me send it for printing and collecting it. 14 years of friendship... we dun always meet but whenever we meet we always feel at ease. :) Here's how the namecard looks like:
