A very efficient day, did alot of things and run alot of errands! Managed to send out all my orders today so as to ensure all my customers received the stuff for Christmas. And yes, i delivered it personally. Nevermind the rush but seeing my customers smile, it means i did the right thing. Like i always said, Charmed Bowtique is not out to make money, in fact, we didnt make much profit considering that all the materials are shipped from US and if you think that the materials are cheap.. then you are wrong.. :)
Some people asked why am i doing such a thing when i dun earn much and i need to spend plenty of time doing it and i even donated the monies out to SPCA. Well, if you do not love animals, then u will not even understand Charmed Bowtique's mission and vision cos we are just not at the same bandwidth. Apart from my love for the animals at large, it also served as a platform for me to remember my Hugo boy, since i am no longer given the chance to care for him, i feel that i should spend my time caring for the other animals in the community. There are so many animals out there waiting for people to help, waiting for people to love. I feel that i should do something for them. Although Hugo boy will always be my one and only dog but i feel the need to help out the other animals... it's like a calling.... I guess only the true blue volunteers will understand this kind of feeling. :) I always feel happy and at peace when i know that my contributions will go a long way to help them out.. It just motivates me to keep on going and it always keeps me very energetic about it. I wish i could have a big piece of land to house each and individual of them but since i could not afford it, the next best is to help them with my available resources.
So if you cant understand my mission and vision, it's perfectly fine cos no one is made the same. At the end of the day, I am happy doing what I am doing and it's really a meaningful cause.
To ensure Charmed Bowtique's growth, i will also be taking up knitting and bow making workshops next year, so be sure to see more products ya! I am also in the mids of saving up for a proper website and hopefully it will materialise early next year. I am happy to have a very supportive family and loved ones who even volunteered to sponsor part of the website cost.. i truly feel blessed for their endless encouragements... For those who have given me their utmost support, i really appreciate it and i hope you will continue to support me and help me expand the network. I hope 2011 will be a better year and I will continue to give all out for this meaning cause and do my very best to help the animals out.
Wishing everyone Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
